I think it's more of a case of what the filter does and what the filter can't do. The filter option that Martian mentioned: D B/ to D./B. strongly suggests to me that Invelos wants initials to be formatted that way. The fact that it doesn't do it for "DB" is because it can't distinguish between initials in that format and short names, not because it doesn't want them formatted that way. I'd very much like confirmation from Invelos that this is what they meant by this filter because I do see your point of view as well. |

I never attempt to try to read anything into things. The way I see it... it is not my place to try to decide what Ken was thinking when he did this. If he tells us exactly what he means by something...then I go by that. If he don't... then I go by what the rules says until he says differently. While it isn't a full space, like there is between first and last names, it is larger than the space between other letters of a name.
