Since when do we enter the titles of the movies included in a box set as the title of the box set  Depending on the cover: Since forever! While I do not care much about the parent profiles of movie boxsets, I do have the following titles in my collection: Title: Before Sunrise / Before Sunset / The Game of Love Edition: Love Box Title: The Blues Brothers/Blues Brothers 2000 Edition: 2 Disc Double Feature Title: Bride & Prejudice - The Wedding Planner - Suzie Gold Edition: 3 DVD Gift Set Title: Für eine Handvoll Dollar / Für ein paar Dollar mehr Edition: 4 Disc Double Movie Collection Title: High Heels / Live Flesh Edition: Almodovar Doublepack Title: Meine Braut, ihr Vater und ich & Meine Frau, ihre Schwieger... Edition: - Title: Ein seltsames Paar & Immer noch ein seltsames Paar Edition: - Title: Topaz / Nightlife in Tokyo / Bondage Master Edition: Tokyo Decadence but then, I also have: Title: The 80s Brat Pack Collection Title: François Truffaut Collection Title: Jacques Tati Collection Title: Roman Polanski Collection Title: Stanley Kubrick Collection Even though the individual titles are also listed on the "front cover" of those boxes. P.S. As said, I don't care about those parent profiles, and they live their miserable life in my ordered tab, while the children are listed in my owned tab. |

| | Posted: | | | | In my opinion, "4 Film Favorites" is a series of releases, termed a "Collection" in the rules. (Like The Criterion Collection or Dragon Dynasty.) Therefore, it belongs in the edition.
Title: Thriller Collection
Edition: 4 Film Favorites
I haven't made an issue about it for the ones I have, but I do them that way locally so that Superman falls under S, Batman falls under B, the Ocean's moves under O, Lethal Weapon under L. |

To me putting "4 Film Favorites: Thriller Collection" in the title is no different to putting "The Criterion Collection" there in a similar situation. And if there were box sets called "The Criterion Collection: Black and White Movies" with a collection of black and white criterion movies or "The Criterion Collection: Color Movies" with a collection of color criterion movies in them (examples of course) then I would agree with you. |

Imho, "4 Film Favorites" is the Edition (if there are 40+ titles of this collection) And Thriller Collection is a "episode" descriper of this Edition, so also in the Edition field. In Germany we have the "2 movie collectors pack" or "Best of Hollywood - 2 movie collectors pack". There many of these. All with totally different movies included. And all entered in another way. Why should we add this as title. This has nothing to do with the box set. It's just an Edition. |

Not the same thing. While there are 40+ 4 Film Favorites, there is only one 4 Film Favorites: Thriller Collection. Ok, this wasn't the best example. But if I remember right there's something similar with added for example "familiy" with different versions and different movies included. It's just a matter of time until a new "4 Fiilm Favorites" will be that also has "Thriller Collection" as identifier, with different movies in.  Btw, there's just another "4 Fiilm Favorites" in database with just "Thriller". For me these kind of bundles don't qualify for a box set title. But as always, this is just a personnel opinion. |
