For the BMW short films disc I have, some films were 1.85 and some 2.40, so I typed "various" into the ratio box. On my local it shows "vari : 1" for the aspect ratio.
I'm pretty sure this was approved as I just clicked submit on that disc, and it said everything was the same. I can't recall if only my local shows this, or if it went through for everyone (maybe it didn't cuz it should be numbers and not letters?).
Look it up, it's called "The Hire" but is only in by disc ID. Here's the ID:
092D-3C07-359C-CB2F

I remember that case and while it looked at at first I then thought that it was quite a good resolution for the problem at hand...

Alec Empire / Atari Teenage Riot: Sixteen Years of Video Material has a flipper... NTSC one side, PAL the other... and the US release (NTSC locality) is simply the German (PAL locality) release with a sticker over the barcode.

It's unfortunate that it can't be removed from the parent profile, like we do with sound etc.

I would just tick widescreen and leave the aspect ratio field blank.
