I don't think Photo Bucket does either, though I could be wrong there.

Photobucket does downsize files on free accounts. I think the upper file size is 1MB for them.

Here is the first batch of re-release covers. They were sent to me by mdnitoil, for which many thanks.
Back and front covers are in 1 zip-file, so there is no loss in quality. The images can be found in the subfolder re-release covers.

Available so far:
025192023620 - Streets of Fire  - R1 - US.zip
025192245022 - Undercover Brother  - R1 - US.zip
027616874801 - Bull Durham  - R1 - US.zip
097360510645 - When Worlds Collide  - R1 - US.zip
097360877441 - Death Wish  - R1 - US.zip
097360880373 - 3 days of the condor  - R1 - US.zip
097363203742 - Eddie Murphy Raw  - R1 - US.zip

If somebody has other images to share, just send me a PM, and I'll give you my email-address. Please keep the current naming convention: UPC - Title - Region - Locality

Wouldn't it be better to also include the Locality? Clearteyt or according to Image naming convention.

Indeed, a great idea to add locality after the region.

Nice idea to zip them and use file sharing instead, but my worry is we can't see the images now until after we've downloaded them - so how do we know it's the cover we're looking for?
Do you think it's possible somehow to add thumbnails to this forum? I can't see image sharing sites complaining about thumbnail-sized images.
Or maybe I'm just making things too complicated.

I agree.... I would like to be able to see a thumbnail or something as well. There is times when you will see more then one re-release or alternate cover.

Thumbnails would be a great idea, just not sure if there is an appropriate way to do it.  I should mention that if we're using Invelos standard images, the zip files are about 300k.  Not a big investment to take a chance on.

These aren't the largest images in the world, but may prove useful to some people, when Sin City was released in the US, it came with the option of 5 covers. One was obviously picked for the online, here are the other 4:

786936291568 - US

Edit: Chris, if you think it's worth it I can email you a zip of these too.

I have some re-release covers aswell. They can be accessed through my PHPprofilersite (see my DVD's link) All full-res scans are available for download.
I'll have to compile a list  for all the titles that are re-releases.

These are the ones I know from the top of my head:

Wedlock
Amadeus
My DVD's

Who is General Failure and why is he reading my hard drive?

Tons of R1 reprint covers being submitted by Pavelow3.  They're all going to get declined so folks might want to cut and paste while they can.

Sorry for submitting outdated covers.  I thought I had purchased the original release versions.  I've locked my covers so that they are not over-ridden by the originals during invelos update.

It's not that big a deal.  Sometimes the easiest way to get a reprint scan is when someone submits the wrong cover.  That way folks can copy and paste to their local before it gets declined.

If someone wants to host a collection, you can use Gallery on your website if you have PHP and MySQL/SQL Server support.  It's the same one I use for my Virtual Cover website - click the VC below for an example.  The site can resize photos down to a maximum resolution while providing the original - or you can set the security settings so only the resizes are viewable.
