Thanks for the good laugh.

I see that you go with your usual tactic when you have nothing to say
Since you keep this topic on top that's fine with me even if you are irrevelent

Of course it's funny that for a guy who don't care about the lack of support you post quite often here

Not a chance, I would live with someone like Skip before someone like him... at least Skip would be a funny guy

on and on we go

The very best answer since some of the complainers are also supporters of IMDb. Why not just abandon Profiler and go use IMDb, you think it is such a wonderful database, and you can track up to 10,000 titles in your library for absolutely NOTHING.   And you have more than those of that used Spot had and thought it was soooooo wonderful. Instead you come to the best program and try and drag it down to the level of your own inability to function because the tripe that you were using DIED.

I was going to leave the 'insulting' comment be but having just read another thread, no. You are the last person who can call anyone insulting. In this thread you called somebody a jerk, in others you have berrated people because 'you were involved' in the writing of the rules and previously I have seen you 'hazing' folks. Please don't play a victim when you are so often the bully.

As my old man used to tell me, don't give out what you can't take.

Oh Sam I can take it just fine, but i will also return fire. So if you can't take the return fire then don't dish it to begin with.

Firstly, you begin to sound like a broken disc skip... Secondly, the complaint is about the lack of support... Thirdly, who the hell do you think you are to told the other users to shut the hell up and use something else?

Did you take the time to drink your coffee, tea, cognac, beer or whatever you drink in the morning? I've never use DVD Spot in my life and this have nothing to do with the lack of support here...

I use IMDb frequently and find it quite useful. For example, it contains data that is not available on DVDP such as data on DVDs that I do not own.

No program is perfect, including DVDP. My use of IMDb has absolutely nothing to do with trying to improve this program.

I hope that the community continues to try and improve DVDP. One way to achieve this is to be receptive to the needs and wishes of the community.

You can roll your eyes untill they fall for all I care... The fact is that you said that I was a DVD Spot user wich I never was and that I must STFU if I deplore the lack of support (something that was promise more than 4 years ago) and stop using DVDP replacing it by imdb wich is quite insulting...

In place of rolling your eyes a simple "sorry, I didn't talk about you Jimmy" would have been a civil answer... But I understand that it's rare to get a civil response from you since you are who you are.

BTW you seem to find imbd quite alright when you do your contributions...

I think the next person to take a jab at anyone else should poke themselves in the eye.

Self-correction & discipline!

Not really helping this thread either.

Did I name you or anyone else, jimmy. I don't believe that i did and that is why you got the eye roll. You made an ASSumption with no basis, I can't help that. Your assumption was incorrect. I didn't even quote you or anyone else< Jimmy. I think all this whining and complaining is simply silly and non-productive. Where, for example, does the support premise or lack thereof end. We take most of thechnical support issues as users but isn't that really Invelos' job. How many hours are there in a day, and Ken Cole is our only developer, let's see keep the Program running and improving, provide support and answer all questions, look into new projects. There aren't enough hours in a day. I simply don't see this support question as that big an issue. I have always tried to answer Rule squestions when they come up, I will always back out of rules questions or not answer them to begin which have been added or experienced a MAJOR change since they were initially developed. Now is it my fault that people like to argue and take potshots at me for trying to be helpful, no it's not. I would even go so far as to suggest that if I have offered help and Ken doesn't choose to weigh-in which happens frequently, then you have gotten the proper response. Sadly that doesn't happen, and the conclusiobn that I have come to is that users simply to focus on their own interpretation so that they can twist the Rule if they can, which i actually find to be pretty self-serving on the part of the given user, without pointing fingers. I will when I can and I may even try and explain the thought process involved as best i can, how you choose to respond is up to you, and how I choose to ijudge that response is up to me. Sorry. But all i offer is assistance.

LOL, but since i didn't take a shot at anyone Doc, I shan't be poking myself in the eye. This isn't even  a jab, at correction of an incorrect user conclusion yes...but not a jab.

Permit me to have some fun at my Martian friend's expense. Biblically for many years one of the Ten Commandments has always been interpretted or translated as Thou shalt not kill, that is actually an incorrect translation of the original Greek manuscripts, why Greek...I don't know I am a biblical scholar per se. But the proper translation is Thou shalt not MURDER. This is an entirely different concept from kill.

Not really.  The monkeys were smarter than that.  They noticed that if you are on the stairs, you don't get wet.  So, all of the monkeys jumped on the stairs at the same time.  None of them get wet.

The humans should wet themselves, as they didn't expect the monkeys to figure that out
