| | Posted: | | | | How many others got this title Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance UPC 043396-399716 with the Bonus Materials Disc it's a DVD not a Blu-ray. I purchased my copy on release day at Walmart. It's not marked as a Walmart Exclusive either. I have this UPC up for voting and have gotten 12 yes and one no. | | Posted: | | | | I changed my vote for now since I think the extra disc is an exclusive but I can not find anywhere in the rules or the pined thread here that says you can not contribute it as part of the profile if the UPC is shared. |

I remember when I got Splice on Blu-ray when it came out it was movie only yet the main profile was for two disc and had the same UPC. | | Posted: | | | | From posts on the blu-ray.com forum both Walmart and Best Buy had exclusive bonus discs. I think that the Walmart one came with the 2D edition and the Best Buy one came with the 3D edition.
If the Walmart one came in the same 2D edition that is available everywhere else and shares the same UPC# then what I would do is just add the Walmart Bonus Disc as a standalone profile (which has been done for these exclusive bonus discs before) to the online database. Thus allowing those that own it to download it and add it as a box set content locally. |

Not just you Martian... I see it the same way. I did this with Suits: Season One that came out in May. The Target version had an exclusive bonus disc, but the same UPC as the general release. So I added the 3 general release discs with the episodes on them, contributed that, then added the bonus disc and locked the disc info. Better that than go back and forth with someone saying "their copy doesn't include the bonus disc." | | | My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT.
FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.
Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it! |
