Tron is a proper name (noun) and used that way in the film so i'd say mixed case.

This is my thinking as well, but there are contributions up, for the Blu-ray versions, attempting to change the title to 'TRON' for each of the versions...3D, Legacy and Original. "Our" rules doesn't cover this subject either "Title: Check capitalization of the title", what ever that means  I think that we should use Tron instead of TRON. Even that TRON is found in everywhere, cover, main credits, ... If TRON is officially accepted we will end up in a huge title change contributions. => How many movies have their original name in the opening credits (and cover) written in way that only first letter in capitalized instead of fully capitalized? There are some, I know, but most likely those are minority. |

On the versions I have the titles are in all capitals. Mine too. So based on the permise that: The packaging says TRON the DVD label says TRON the film credits say TRON I'll accept Greyhulks statement that "it is short for TRace ON" Then my vote goes for TRON...... ....on the other hand, I admit that my local DB has oscillated (indeed, even vacillated) over the last couple of months between TRON & Tron  | | | | Chris |
