If we take any cast information from the DVD's sleeve, a booklet/leaflet inside the DVD case, or from within an extra feature (where they’re written or spoken about) on the DVD, do we tick the “uncredited” tick box for these individuals?
This question assumes they aren't listed in the film's credits anywhere.

Like others have said, only what's on the film credits fit. It goes both ways with deleted scenes too. Example: Bruce Campbell is in the cast credits for "The Quick and the Dead" even though his scenes were cut and never surfaced anywhere to my knowledge, defintly not on any dvd or bd. Everything you listed are great sources to confirm an uncredited though!  |

... Yes. The only time when we use other sources and still don't tick the uncredited checkbox is when there are absolutely no credits (beginning/end) in the movie. (But those are very limited to special cases) |

If there are no credits, the film's official site may be used as a source, as long as the inclusion does not violate the site's published policy (if any). Doesn't say to tick uncredited in the rule. But why don't we ask skip what the intent of this rule is. |

So reading all the rules on the subject... as they are written... I would check uncredited checkbox. I know Ken made this rule because of a certain thread.
