Johnson and Jess Franco are the same person (been trying to find some other sources to confirm these if anyone can help) so what i think this is saying is that the film was directed by Jess Franco under the pseudonym of J. Wouldn't "J. P. Johnson" be a pseudonym rather than a "nickname"? If the credit were simply "Directed by J. P. Johnson", I would enter it as a pseudonym, but it isn't. (-> Kluge's post) But I'm very undecided if we should see it as one credit or if we would say this are two entries for one person. | | Posted: | | | | I'm not 100% sure that all those pseudonyms are his? if you look at the page for Lina Romay and check her alternate names you will find that some of them are the same (of coarse they could both be using the same alternate names) which is why i was trying to find some other sources to corroborate them (thanks for the links) |
