See below - what's this DVD's "title"? Like many other examples, this cover uses formatting to distinguish between "Mean" and "Girls", which we can't replicate in DVD Profiler. I would prefer to enter this as "Mean Girls", but someone disagrees. Hence this poll... For the record: the credits use the same formatting (click!), and the credits block shows a space between both words.

I'd go with the credits block on this one.  It's always referred to as two-word MEAN GIRLS and not a single non-word.

Agreed.  "MEANGIRLS" is just a stylized way to show "Mean Girls".

The use of font makes it obvious it is a pair of words.

Excellent!    I obviously felt the same way, but I just needed to be sure.

If the title is shown run together, but with coloring and/or symbols splitting the title words, use standard spacing.

It's not a different coloring, but bolded/not bolded or different font, so this would be imho the part of the rules, that tell us: "Mean Girls".
As far as I know, this would be the standard spacing. (Don't think "Meangirls" exists as word)

It goes without saying I agree.
I'd really like an addition to the title rules so they say something like:
"Use the title from the front cover, using information from the rest of the cover (such as the credit block) to clarify if there is any doubt."
I think that would stop a lot of these strange title decisions.

Edit: @VirusPil,  I knew I'd seen something like that before, but couldn't see it in the rules - is that one of the famous clarifications? I think it would work better if the word "coloring" was changed to "formatting".

Edit 2: found it.

And the Poll results (at this point) are unanimous. I've never seen that here before. I think i'll change my vote just to add some color to the picture

I'm pretty much re-iterating what Northbloke is saying but always referring to the credit block on the back cover seems to be a good idea.  I'd like it to be specified as the primary Title source.

Wait a second I'll change my vote ... (Not)

The last time I noticed something like this, I jinxed it by saying so ...
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Shouldn't it be "Drunk Girls"?

Sorry, couldn't resist. I'm surprised it hadn't already been done.

When we had those discussion about T4Xi or Se7en, most users here considered we had, per the rules, to reproduce exactly what's on the cover. We have no space here, so rules ask for Meangirls.

I know that sometimes rule application seems stupid, and I asked in the past for the right to be intelligent when necessary. That was refused by most users.

So, no doubt, people who want to follow rules have to use Meangirls.

As for this ,

do not forget FRANCOIS is a stylised way to show François... so let us be consistent...
