I would suggest the following.

divider Additional Adult Performer
name Adult Performer
name Adult Performer
divider Voice Performer
name Voice Performer
name Voice Performer

I am going to give you a different answer...these are not cast dividers, they are group role credits.  For these you would enter the group role into each additional role field for the actors.

Dividers are used to seperate credits.  Dividers, in my opinion, look like this:

Cops
John Smith  Detective
Sam Sampson  Officer Jones

Simply put, if there are individual roles, it is a divider.  If there aren't, it is a group credit.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

No, you would not use a divider at all in the example given.

See and I see dividers in a differant way, Beowulf is a perfect example, you have you cast credits then a blank line and Aditional Adult Performers and a blank line then Voice Performer.

Using this example if you use dividers where the blankl lines are there is no need to show cast-role for those Aditional Adult and Voice Performers its just doubling up.

If you use a divider instead of a Role for the Actor then the role is not associated with the name.  If you look at the credits for a specific actor you won't know what they did in this movie because the info is trapped in a divider.

My goal is not to emulate the credit structure but to convey information and as you want to use dividers that won't happen.

Right but for this example they are only Adult Performers and Voice Performers they have no role anyway.

Another example I would use is AI Artificial Intelligence how the differant types are divided and this was approved.Or the approved Stardust.

I do see what you mean by the role though. To me it still seems like a break in the cast when they have spaced lines like that.

What about a divider for Adult Performers
name
role

is this acceptible?

A.I. is an example of the proper use of cast dividers...in my opinion.  Stardust, is not...again, in my opinion.  The fact that Stardust has been accepted doesn't mean it is correct, it just means it was accepted.

I wouldn't do it that way.  I would enter the group role into each role field and leave the divider out.

Of course they have a Role...either Adult or Voice Performer.  Just because the roles are non-specific doesn't mean it isn't good info.  The way you originally proposed doing it no one can link the role with the performer.

Who benefits from conveying that space in the film credits into our credits?
