| Posted: | | | | Hey all,
Need your help with something. For a few days now, the Disc Number in the discs tab has disappeared. I see:
Side A | Side B Description | DL | Disc ID |Description | DL | Disc ID |
When I rightclick, the Disc Num field is marked, but it doesn't show. Does anyone know how to fix this? The disc number is visible when I'm editing a profile. It's not visible in any layout.
Thanks, Marcel | | | Last edited: by marcelb7 |

| Posted: | | | | I can't find where to control it for now, but at some time it had a dvd-profiler icon showing now i have the disc id showing up as normal. did you try reloading the invelos default high resolution and mark everything on the right hand top of the load window? or did you try the tools: options: utilities: reset all menus | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. | Posted: | | | | he he i found it, I think, you have to drag the margin more to widen the disc-id field if it is to small it shows the invelos icon if a disc-id is present. if you hover over it tooltips should show the disc-id. | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. | Posted: | | | | It is not the disc ID that is missing... but the disc #.. like...
1 | Disc Desc.|Disc ID | DL
the number I put in bold is what is missing. In my case... the Disc Number is not checked off when you right click and go to view columns... but when I try to check off nothing happens... it just don't let me select the disc number. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | # shows always with me whatever i try, the right click view columns shows the disc num marked and is not changeable here. the number does not show if no disc id is assigned. what layout are you using? and are you running XP or Vista, I'm on XP SP3. you can move all collumns from place. | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. | Posted: | | | | I had a similar incident. The way I found around it...in the Disc Info window right click, brings up the "View Columns" dialogue then ensure you have ticks against all visable (except top one which you can't (Disc Number)) this will bring the disc info back to the window.

Just re-checked mine...I too have the disc number still missing but as my previous post did regain all other info that went missing. Could it be down to a MS update? running XP with SP3 here, I see your running XP with SP2 Pete, but could it be down to something else as DVDP itself hasn,t been updated yet, I heard it was due Monday Steve |

| Posted: | | | | That must be what causes it!
I remember a while back ago I started up and got an error. (no I don't remmeber the error I got) and when I restarted it all the disc info was gone... and when I tried to add all the fields back in the disc # field wouldn't work. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | solved the problem: close DVD Profiler from the start button use search and search for layout.dpl it should come up with: layout.dpl layout.dpl.bak in c:\Documents and Settings\Giga Wizard\Application Data\DVD Profiler
where Giga Wizard is your user login in windows XP delete those 2 files. start DVD Profiler, and problem is gone, reload your favorit layout | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted.
