I supplied a profile earlier today for Epic Movie: Rude & Crude EAN: 5039036033046 Locality: UK Once I had gone through the credits at the end of the DVD, entering into DVDP, then clicking the submit button I did not get a window for any contribution notes...perhaps if source is to be a requirement then contribution notes should also be required for even a new submission to the DB. P.S. I would recommend this film if anybody is into parodies of Hollywood Blockbuster's. KevinCoed plenty of cleveage shots Steve |

Skip I would prefer a Contribution Notes window for a brand new submission myself, at least then if somebody then makes a change they can see where the original data came from. As I said earlier had great fun sitting through the end credits to get the data, but my submission wont show that fact, and joe bloggs won't have a reference to go by either when he wants to make a change. I think you're implying it, but I'll also say I'd like this to go both ways as well in regards to the removal of cast and crew. | | | "Rules are for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men" - Douglas Bader "A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools." - Douglas Adams |

Good idea. Now that the bulk of the mass contributions are over, I've switched the contribution system to prompt for notes for new contributions as well as changes. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. | Posted: | | | | the dreaded country of origins Ken/Geri, are we still okay putting just CoO for new country of origin entries, and some form of reasoning/documentation if we are changing existing? There are still many many CoO's needed to be filled, and i am doing my best adding them especially for non-region 1 releases, but if we were to have to put a lot of documentation for each one then I would have to stop simply for the time factor. I've found if i do cock one up, someone points me in the right direction and we agree on what is correct (Sorry Erik ) | | | |

Sometimes when I vote no because of no source given I hear from the contributor no source is required because it is mentioned nowhere in the rules or anything. Now I can point to this thread! This is another thing I been waiting for! I hate doing a new profile with complete cast and crew from the credits and such and not being able to let everyone know what I done and where it is from! Thanks Ken! These both made my day! | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I don't think so you are using imdb as a source, what is not allowed due to copyright issues? | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions. |

People don't like you using info from IMDB. |
