| I don't submit these into the DVD Profiler database, no - I've always stuck to a strict "no additional anything" policy. In my local database, though, I have tracked such credits occasionally, for instance if I'm particularly interested in the person credited as such. | Generally speaking in these cases, I try to add them to the movie profile that seems to fit best, the one that the special feature's content is most tied to. That's easy when it's a trailer/commentary audio track/gallery/featurette/deleted scene that's specific to one movie, but indeed, but indeed, there can be cases where it's a bit less clear. The contribution rules don't address this, so it'll be hard to find consensus. Personally, as far as my local database is concerned, I don't like to list a single feature on two separate profiles, so if the the special feature *really* doesn't seem to tied to any of the movies on that disc, I'd probably assign it to the first profile of that particular disc, not to the "alternate version" profiling the second or third movie on that disc. | Posted: Topic Replies: 3, Topic Views: 2905 |
