Thanks for everybody's opinions, that's cleared things up for me.
Just to clarify, I wasn't voting based on personal preference. To be honest, if the change goes through, so be it, that's what I'll have in my database too.
The reason I voted no was because I felt the original title (Angel: Season Three) was accurate and did not break the rules, therefore the change, although not breaking the rules either, was not necessary. Nothing to do with personal preference, simply a difference of opinion in the interpretation of the rules.
That's why I voted no, and let the majority or the database administrators make the final decision.
I certainly don't think people who vote no should be ordered to change their vote via rude PMs from the original contributor simply because they had the cheek to question their perfection!

Of that I am in complete agreement. Assuming the No reason was polite, then I see no problem with a polite PM from the contributer to a voter to clarify why the contributer believes the voter is in error. But no-one has the right to order anyone to change their vote.

If however the No vote reason was rude, the they have leave them open to a rude PM and it is nothing more than deserved!

As an aside, PMs from third parties (other voters) are completely out of line imo - mind your own business! One person, one vote - PMing another voter to change their vote is tantamount to vote stuffing, and Invelos have made it clear with registered-only voting that that is unacceptable.

If it was a movie then the cover title would not necessarily be correct as the rules say as credit.  But TV shows it clearly states use what is on the cover.
